Usage of Skype+IPMate X90       

Scenario 1: Skype to Phone

IPMate X90 software setup:

1. Choose the Skype ID to whom you intent to give access to "Skype to Phone" service.

2. Skype Follow me: Choose "Skype Call forwarding to given phone number" and input the phone number to be called(such as 62565155).  In this status, the in-call Skype phone in access list will be forward to the phone number

3. Skype to Local Phone: Choose "Skype call forwarding to local phone number" . When someone call your Skype ID, an Instant Message will be sent to the caller automatically, after the caller reply the message with the local phone number within 30 seconds, X90 will forward the call to the phone number in IM message. Phone number beginning with "0" will be rejected.

4. Skype to Any Phone: Choose "Skype call forwarding to any phone number". When someone call your Skype ID, an Instant Message will be sent to the caller automatically, after the caller reply the message with the local phone number within 30 seconds, X90 will forward the call to the phone number in IM message

Scenario 2: Phone to Skype

IPMate X90 software setup:

1. Please confirm you have set Speed-dial number for the Skype contact to be called.

2. Choose "Phone call forwarding to Skype(Automatic)",

2. Assign an access code, the default is "123456" .

Caller operation:

1.    Dial the number of the phone line connected to IPMate X90.

2.    Input access code with phone keypads after prompt, press "#" to continue.

3.    Input Skype speed-dial numbers of the Skype user you want to call, press "#" to continue.

4.    You will hear the dialing tone if the call is routed successfully, otherwise you will be prompted to hang up.

Scenario 3: Use general phone or cordless phone to make a Skpye call

1. Pick up the phone connected with IPMate S90,press "*" on phone, the Skype window will be maximized.

2. Dial the speed dial number you have setup before,for example, to call Andrew (his speed dial number is "8"), directly dial "8" on phone, then "8" will be showed in the Skype window.

3. Press "#" on phone, the Skype phone call will begin to connect.

4. When you finish the phone call, just put down the phone, the internet phone call will be finished and the Skype window will be minimized.

5. when somebody call you by Skype, the phone will rings. then pick up phone, the skype phone call was answered.

6. For Skypeout, press "*"+"00"+"country number"+"phone number"+"#" can start the Skypeout.

cenario 4: Phone to Phone by SkypeOut Service

IPMate X90 software setup:

1. Please confirm you have enough credit in your SkypeOut account.

2. Choose "Enable Phone to Skype",

2. Assign an access code, the default is "123456" .

Caller operation:

1. Dial the number of the phone line connected to IPMate X90.

2. Input access code with phone keypads after prompt, press "#" to continue.

3. Input the phone number you want to call (the number should be in such format: "00"+area code + phone number, such as 00+8610+62565155), press "#" to continue;

4. You will hear the ring back tone if the call is routed successfully, otherwise you will be prompted to hang up.
